I am seriouly considering just biting th bullet and dropping the $2k for a new kit.......

got the beast home but its not as heavy as I thought, only had 1 hill to challenge Barney ,long grade on Hwy 10 but no cars passed me while I has in the slow lane
I'll take some pics in the daylite, front tires started to break through the planks on the trailer so I backed it up and parked it on top of the ramps. it didn't look good with the ramps sticking 2 feet out the front of the trailer but nobody stopped me..........................
I did notice this thing has a 138" wheelbase , wondering if I could bolt a solid 79 clubwaqon on this thing. that would be very cool!!!

Nice. What is the toggle switch next to the Trans Temp gauge?

Is it a sleeper cab? If so, what kind of room does it have?

not sure what that switch is for yet, it is a sleeper bunk open from the cab, storage on the bottom(liitle door to access) it also has functional air bags in the rear that the seller told me can be adjusted from the cab. it has some serious brakes locking up issues, was very hard to move once on the trailer as someone messed with the throttle return spring and idle adjust.

I think if the engine/trans check out I might try a body swap to a 79 E250 chateau I have that's too good to part out. would look kind of cool a dually clubwagon in the boxy style.............................79 no etest

we have snow in the next 7days forecast so I probably won't get at it soon, but? have a few more vehicles to move before my trailer becomes useless.

I've always wanted a dually van, but after driving mine for so many years, think turning would be too much of a headache, you lose the goose neck hauling ability with a van body. Looks odd being short, but I like it, can't beat the old C-6, but that thing should have been a standard shift.

I was thinking the same thing, even have a good ZF that would work mint
now who has all the pedals and bits to put into it? I'm sure I could fab in the hydraulic clutch parts, but not complete build of the extra pedal.
I modified a 79 F250 to the hydraulic clutch, but I started with the manual shift pedal assembly. clutch pedal assembly for 75-91 Eseries aren't exactly plentiful.
