F350 drw or F450

Been a while!

Considering getting a new truck this year. I'm towing a Cyclone 3110 with a GVWR of 15,500....Which vehicle would do a better job?

I my opinion......Both.

The F-450 is over kill......But works fine

The F-350 SRW would work OK.

The F-350 DRW will have plenty of reserve and a little better mileage than the F-450. The F-350 DRW with the 3.73 Rear End will be great for towing and help with milage.

I tow 17500 lbs with 4300 lbs pin weight.
I have a F-350 DRW 3.73 rear end on order right now.

Sailor thanks for the response.

I have a 350 srw now that does the job, but, I think the drw will provide a more stable drive...And a larger rear end diff is nice as well.

I've had my truck since 5/1/2010 and haven't had any issues at all.
