1989 F150, died, no spark..

Hey guys, I'm really in need of some help. I have a 1989 F150 with the 5.0 and manual trans. I was on my way home, when the truck just died, as if the key was shut off. The distributor, module, and coil were replaced 2 months ago. I got a new coil, distributor, module, cap/rotor. Really at a loss as to what else it could be? any help is appreciated. Thanks guys.

does your check engine light go out while cranking the engine. did you check for spark from a plug wire or with a tester. were did you get those parts from and were they installed correctly. and are you able to push start the truck

Let's start a little more basic than that...

Step by step do the following: if at any step the answer is no don't bother continuing on.
1) Does anything electrical on the truck work?
2) With the key off does the horn work? Or the interior cab light come on?
3) With the key on does the radio work? Wipers work? Heater fan? Do the idiot lights on the dash light up when you first turn the key to the on position?
4) If you turn the key to the start position do you hear my noise at all?

The above will break the problem down into group of sub-systems that will help diagnose where the problem may lie.
