ZF5 Clutch Problems

So I bought my 1993 F250 5.8 zf5 about a year ago, the previous owner installed a new clutch. Ive never had any problems shifting and it never grinds going into reverse. The problem was I only had half of a very light clutch pedal. Felt like there was a big air bubble the would move from the slave to the mc, sometimes it would disengage half way down and engage as soon as I came off the floor and sometimes it would disengage right away but not engage until half way up from the floor. Had some down time and decided I would try to get that air bubble out and now....I have NO clutch pedal. I used my mighty vac attached to the bleeder, pumped like 10 times and crack the bleeder and repeated (MC cap off). I dont think the mc ever went dry but maybe it did? I guess my question is if I could have ruined my mc or slave cylinder in the bleeding process?

You probably ran it dry. They are a pita to bleed sometimes. I take my bottlw of brake fluid and turn it upside down in the reservoir so it wont run dry

Thats a good idea. I bled and bled and got it back to where I started but still only half a pedal, thinking new mc as all the firewall isnt flexing and everything is tight
