I wish you a safe trip! I did just go through an issue with my wiring though that hopefully will help. When I was working through my trailer brake problems and upgraded the 7 pin, the kit I bought came with the required fuses so I went through everything. My truck was missing the 30 amp fuse under hood that provides 12v to the trailer. Once I popped that in, I was able to run my jack with a dead trailer battery. It's one of the big fuses and is labeled in the manual as trailer 12v or something similar. it's free to look!
Good luck,
Brian

You might already know this, but just in case you didn't, do you have the relay underhood installed for the house battery power? Mine didn't. It's a pretty common, off the shelf 5 prong relay.

Thank guys. I'll have to check. I have glovebox full of extra fuses and relays. Didn't even think of that.
Darn it.... I dumped my fresh water tank in the Pilot parking lot since I can't run my 12v pump for showers....
I'll check for that relay when I stop for the night. I'd like to be able to drop the trailer if need be.
Figures, my owners manual is in the camper somewhere? I'll have to find that later as well unless someone has a pic of where that relay should be?
Thanks guys. Time to get back on the big road.
I'm half way across Nebraska now.

Frank, When my truck was new the original owners (that I bought it from) had the dealer do something with wiring I think so the truck would charge the rv battery.....may be it was just a relay.....mine DOES charge the rv batteries for me now...

Safe travels Frank!! We're all still ridin with ya in spirit!

In the 2nd pic on that link, I was missing #16 and that's why I'm guessing i was not getting power on the trailer from truck.

The power relay you need is in the doghouse to the left of the fuse box. I picked up one off the shelf at O'reillys like the one picture above. It has a mounting tab that I needed to cut off, but it works and it was less than $5.

Thanks guys. It looks like I have that fuse and breaker?
Must be my plug.
I just blew an inside rear tire and I'm kind screwed. Can't take the weight of the trailer off of the truck to change it out.
I may have to call on AAA or good SAMs to come lend a hand.

I think that he does not have a manual thingy to crank up the stabilizer. Mine doesn't.

#16 looked good. I'll have to look into this when I get to Oregon.
I'm in Brady Nebraska at a rest area. Good Sams is coming out to swap it for me. I'll jump my battery with his truck if need be.

Thanks. I thought about doing just that, but then I remembered that I have. AAA & Good Sams. Let them deal with it. I'll get my tire patched at the next truck stop.
