My degas bottle had some white residue on it and the retained head gaskets had some carbon streaks that were starting to leave the combustion chamber. They werent blown yet, but didnt have much life left on them.

Also, the truck had the turbo and FICM replaced in the last 20K miles, but the head gaskets hadnt been done. The oil cooler was getting plugged and I was worried what else might have been hurt.
