I'm on the Monterey Peninsula...the Central Coast...a bit far from Jim. I did try to call you though, looked in my cell and thought I had your number, but I didn't have it like I thought.

I was gonna drive down with Pete, but since he rolled his Miata, that got changed. I tried to get a couple friends to come with, but it didn't work out.

I talked to Gail and Marv and let them know.

Thanks Trey.

Really? I know every topic I talked about down there and not one of them was to buy your rarest of the rare Ford Neon.

All he needs to do (and I told him this at least twice at the GTG) is to put a blue oval in the center of the grille. Then there will be no problems. As for the envious eyes, you would have envious eyes too if your daily driver got 8 mpg (downhill with a tail wind) and was looking at a 20 mpg daily driver. LOL

Yes, yes I am. Still love it too, but now that the trailer has been sold as well as the ramps, I have no real reason to keep it. I am not towing anything. So it is up for sale on CL, but get no serious responses. Once it sells, I will buy a Ranger (90-92) 4x4 so I can save money on gas, and still be able to make the Pismo run each year.

I wonder how far you could fly if you had a blown top-fuel engine in a dune blaster...

4.5 BAR with 30% nitro methane...

You'd have to be completely nutz to go there.

Centurion was the most aero semi cab you could have, wasn't it?

Has the aero tech gone farther with big rigs since? Or is that the best mileage you can get with a rig PERIOD?

Wolfie,

It's an F-350 "Centurion" edition.

They are/were an aftermarket customizer that Ford used.
See: https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/1...n-edition.html
