Yeah, it is a pretty basic mechanical task.
Biggest issue people have is they don't clean the gasket surface correctly or don't apply the gasket maker correctly and end up with leaks.
Also forgetting the Friction modifier can cause issues too if you have factory limited slip.
I have heard of many that even though they use a fluid that says no need to add a FM, they still have chatter from the LS and the only way to fix it was to add the , so I added FM even though the fluid I used said it has FM already.
