ZF5-47 interchange with ZF5-42?

Have any of you replaced the older version (ZF5-42) transmission with the newer (ZF5-47) version? I am wanting to do this IF everything will fit properly. I have a 1990 F250 with a 300 and a ZF5-42 that is starting to having issues and would like to replace with a ZF5-47.

Swaps right over as long as it is the proper Windsor style (internal concentric slave) and correct 2wd or 4wd output.

The S5-47 (and even newer S5-42's) will not have speedometer drive capability if you have a two wheel drive truck. If it is 4x4, the speedometer is driven off of the transfer case and it won't matter.
