Goodness, 11 leaves? Doesn't sound stock. Did you ask if the donor truck was lifted or stock?
The numbers are stamped on the springs at an end. From my experience the stamped numbers are not reliable but I think RobRoss has a special way of looking them up.
2003 6.0 Diesel, Atlas 40 FICM tune, child seats and a lot of empty sippy cups. 6" lift made up of V springs, modded S springs, 2" lift shackles and add a leaf in front, F350 blocks in the rear, 35" tires, 2" spacers, RS9000 shocks, adjustable track bar, Auto Enginuity.
Well, you're right, it does say that. I'm by no means an expert on part numbers but the number breaks down to 2 = 2002, C7 = excursion, 5 = Ford South America. The South America part doesn't make sense to me, I'll keep trying though. I spent a lot of time in South America and thick spring packs are common there but I don't know at this time what you have. Give me a few days...sorry.
So there would be no way to modify them then? The guy has everything else that I need and it's kinda a package deal. I'll trust you guys if you think I should call it off though. I was supposed to make the deal tomorrow after work.
