buffing 2004 aluminum wheel

Got my 2004 F350 stuck today and both rear wheels are completely scratched from the mud. Up to this the wheels were still in amazing show room condition, how can I bring back the gloss and remove the endless scratches? Just use the mother powerball I usually use or is a more aggressive approach needed?

I would guess Your wheels have clear coat of some kind,so you will have to work through the clear coat to buff the scratches out of the aluminumor strip all trhe coating off with a paint stripper, there is a lot of products to buff aluminum & some wasnt to effective,3M super duty compound seem to work very well when I buffed out a 22ft riverjet boat.
