Yeah, hope all is ok with Rich.

Good morning all!

Nice having a new battery in Red. I've had him working this week in the yard for me.

Not sure what is on the agenda today. Have a great day

Afternoon Everybody!

We made it home with no issues. I'll probably change the oil and do a trans service on the Acura at some point this week. The engine ran great all the way home.

Eric. Great news on the truck. That's gonna be nice when it's back together.

That is a cool looking truck! I used to live near the King ranch in Texas.

Glad your home safe Alan.

Yesterday was one of those days! Put a lower balljoint in my F150 and the ABS light came on. Since I only unplugged the connector and did not remove the sensor from the hub, I just cleaned the connector applied electrical grease and reconnected. That didn't do the trick though. I either got some wheel bearing grease on the magnet or one of the wire leads broke inside from being moved around. Then get home from my uncles shop to find that my home AC unit is no longer working.

This has been a bad a/c year for our members. Lots of units going out.

I'm hoping it's just the capacitor. It's bulged out and leaking oil. The compressor kicks on with the reset button but not the fan on the unit. So it's also possible the fan motor went out, taking the capacitor with it. The fan is not seized. That's about as far as my HVAC knowledge goes though lol

I hope the A/C in Uncle Jesse's truck works. It has the dealer installed A/C. I have all the pieces, so I thought it would be cool to hook up and get working.

I'm in trouble for going to work tomorrow. I still can't walk after some stupid pills and a long day on the heating pad.

Good Morning Everybody!

Well, the Acura is down for the count again. It started up just fine this morning when Tiff went off to work. Somewhere between here and the gas station, the battery shorted out. It would barely light the dash lights when she went to start it to go the rest of the way to work.

I had to hobble my broke butt over to Ozark at 0615 and jump start the thing. I gave Tiff the Dodge to take to work and I brought the Acura home.

I'm gonna stay home today to see if I can get my back straightened out. I can't hardly use my legs at all right now.

Good morning Gents!

I have back issues myself Alan, not even close to the severity of yours, but I know pain from back problems, so I feel for ya.

May get me some epoxy primer today , so when I sand blast Ol Big Red, ill have something to cover him back up with. I'm sure they can tint it red. Lol

Well howdy boys, had to leave the laptop in Dubai (carry on weight restrictions) to get into Afghanistan. 100 to 115 in the shade. NO shade on the flt line........had a rocket hit to close for comfort the other night.

No worries I am out of here in a few more days....but on to other locations.

I'll be in touch.
