i may do that rich.. i think with the cloudy skies it may be a cooler day.. i need to go do some grocery shopping anyway.. the great eagle squatted early this month.. ha ha ha ha

 

but i may just go down to the border to sell a few old cars.. i seen a ad looking for old cars down there, and they dont even need the drive trains

 

Well if it's worth something, turn it into cash, that is my plan here real soon.

Or just continue to invest in more precious metal like copper/lead and this called thing called "gunpowder".

I learned something last night. Never wear cowboy boots when doing chains if your team (or other team for that matter) is gonna kick the diddly out of the other team. I ran my tail off and it was no fun. My legs and feet are killing me and I'm worn out after getting sleep! Lol

Want to get something truck related done today, even if I just move Ol Big Red. Its thundering here but not any rain right now.

 

Good Morning Everybody!

It's gonna be a real short day at the shop. I have to fix the quarter doors on an F-150 extended cab, then I have to come home and get ready for a pool party. I hope it doesn't get rained out.

RC. I'm leaving for the shop now, and should be there for a few hours. If I'm not there, I'll be at the house. (where that trans is)

 

Pool party...I did not get a invite, what's up with that? Oh yes I can't make it anyway...lol

Heck yea Alan take a day and relax, you do know how to do that don't ya? Like in Florida, just not as far away.

Jeff I remember the day when I never took my Justins off, now even looking at a pair make my feet hurt. Hang in there, my bro inlaw swears by them new Ariat square toes as the most comfortable boots ever. They let your foot spread out..

Just have to get use to the square toe, but they are not like the ol square toe Dingo's from back in the day.

 

Good morning all, I "have" to go to a car show tonight to give an estimate on a paint job and then supper with some friends. I think we're having a pool party tomorrow if the weather cooperates.

 

The FTE boys show up at Chips...oh yea you have a in ground one.


And we would be in a Ford, unless RC drove the S10.

Well, the pool party was cancelled because the guy said it was supposed to rain all day. I haven't seen a drop yet and it's been bright sunshine. ...oh well. I went garage saling with Tiff for a while then parked my butt in the recliner. We gonna go over to our friend's 40th B-day party here in a little while. All the free BBQ and alcohol we can handle, so this should be a good time. I gotta hit it hard at the shop tomorrow, though. Mask and paint one, then get the crossmembers done on the '49 Ford. Monday a '56 Chevy is coming back to do some more welding on the body. (filling trim holes)

 

Alan did you say... All the BBQ and ALCOHOL you can handle???
What a deal, tell me it's out this way someplace close.

Shari has accepted a job offer starting the 15th of September. We have already signed the lease and started moving to the house in Apex NC.
But her new job is "Remote" working from home, full time, with almost the same pay, and benefits that she is getting from Duke.

So, we should be moving back home after our lease is up, September 2015
