Depends on the company...the one I work for only pays 12% of the insurance premium. I suppose I could go COBRA and not pay much more...but...that's good for a maximum of 18 months. MEDICARE doesn't kick in until 65.

Wow, that's not much of a contribution from the company. How old will you be at retirement?

Full retirement age for me will be 66...I can qualify for reduced benefits at 62. Along with my 401K...should be do-able...depending on insurance.
