Here is my parts truck.
And this is why its for parts.
So I bought this truck 5 years ago and have been tearing it down slowly. I am using the Bed, Hood and Seat Bracket. I hope to use the Brake Power Booster as well. I am keeping the Wheels and Tires. The engine is a tired 360, but it has a rebuilt C6 in it. This truck has the Dual Piston Caliper Disc Brakes, but can't use them on my 4X4. I am currently looking for a Short Bed F100 to swap in the entire drive line so I would end up with an F200.

Got the heads torqued to the recommended 90ft/lbs. Did it in three steps 70/80 then 90 working out from the center. Thread cased the holes and apply lube to each bolt. Really did make a difference, the bolts torqued smooth and steady. Did start checking the push rod lengths, they look like they will work. Now I have to roll over the motor and install the oil pump and windage tray. Hoping to go to Carlisle, PA on Friday and see what is around for parts. Let me know if any of you are going to be there.

I have been doing the small stuff lately. I tapped the timing chain cover for the timing pointer and installed the screw with loctite. I also final found the valley pan so that can get installed. I did some more arranging in the garage as well.
Built small work space for computer and storage.

Intake installed, used Ford RTV to seal the front and back cork gaskets in place. Also used and distributor to line up the intake before torquing it down..
Spark Plug holes covered, I also covered the Exhaust ports.
Really is looking like an engine again after all these years.
Just happy to have made some progress this weekend and did some honey-do stuff as well.
