'08 constant electrical draw A/C Clutch fuse location

My battery keeps dying, now on 3rd one. I had the system tested and the draw is at the fuse location for the A/C clutch 15 amps. I replaced the A/C compressor that came with a new clutch. A week later my battery dies again. Anybody here have this problem and fixed it? Any suggestions what to test next? Vehicle info: '08 Ford E350 Econoline, Super Duty, 5.4 eng

Hi interstategar,

Any chance of a DRL problem? That's the other item listed for that fuse. The only other thing I can think of would be an intermittent short in the harness somewhere? Is the A/C switched off when it's parked?

Along with Jim's great suggestion to further isolate the A/C circuit simply disconnect the compressor connector. If you're doing the recommended parasitic draw test that should show immediately if its at fault.

Here is a great detailed list of how to troubleshoot a parasitic draw. I have a draw as well, but am unable to access my fuse panel. I will have to wait till I can get some help. but this is a great help.:
