I feel like a bad owner, I have not washed it since the start of the month. After getting home from the second vacation and dealing with all the stress of my Grandpa's strokes all i've done is drive it.

Went out to dinner tonight, my buddy just bought a 2010 Ram 3500 DRW and parked in front of me. Had to try and make my truck look little.

Over the weekend it was nice enough to justify washing it, sure glad i did as the front wheels were black from brake dust. I know that was the longest i've gone without washing it.

So sexy when it's all clean and shiny! The leaves are starting to turn and fall to the ground. Won't be long now before it turns colder. Not sure how this winter is going to be...maybe we'll get some snow?

Oh please don't remind me! I walked past the wheels in one of my storage containers and had to shudder at the thought of putting them on again.

Hi Dave, Thanks for taking the time to read all my babble . I just like to share the journey in ownership of my trucks with the forum. I've done the same with my other trucks. Plus it's fun for me to go back to the start and look at my little caption and photos to see what i was doing and when.

I have a trip planned to Fairbanks, AK in October, can't wait to load the truck up and go on that one

Looks like fall is coming your way. Did you get a chance to eat at any of the Chicago iconic restaurants on your trip?

It's coming faster then i would like, but really at this point i'm just ready for snow.
I didn't get to spend as much time actually in Chicago as i wanted to. We spent one day there went to the big bean and ate at a place right under it..don't remember the name but it was good...never got my pizza either just means i gotta go back i suppose

I had to go down town for a breakfast this morning, got there at 6:45AM and it was still dark, finished up and walked out to the truck at 7:45AM and a beautiful sunrise was going on. We are loosing about 20 mins a week of daylight right now

I apparently made a friend also haha

We've already lost so much daylight it's mind boggling, I think we're down to 13 hours and some odd mins and that will go quickly as December approaches.

Oh on a cool side note, I got a new phone Samsung Galaxy S6 and it will now sent and receive text's through the Sync. My old phone wouldn't do that.

My iPhone 6+ started doing that after the last ios update. It's a nice feature.
You still have more sunlight than people who live on the equator.

Hi AlaskanEx,

Smsung devices require you to give SYNC permission to access your messages. This request should have appeared on your device during the pairing process.

The message reads: "SYNC is requesting permission to access your text messages. Give SYNC permission?"

You have to approve the MAP request for this feature to work.

Try going through the pairing process again and look for this request on your device.

If you need assistance with the pairing process, please let me know which SYNC system you have so I can provide the steps: How to identify your SYNC version | Official Ford Owner Site

Hey xr7gt390,

On your iPhone there is an option to turn this feature on.

Select SETTINGS, BLUETOOTH, and then the BLUE ICON next to SYNC. There you will find an option for SHOW NOTIFICATIONS, make sure it's turned on.

Let me know how it goes.

Whitney
