Oh yea...and the death of the crown vic had more to do with Ford going to the World Platform of vehicles rather than country-specific. They could have easily kept the platform going with improved drivetrains...it just wouldn't have been profitable.

The crown vic fuel tank issues upon rear impact also impacted sales/desirability of that platform as well.
