rare rims?

Hello all, I scored a set of some what I think are rare factory option rims from the late 70s at picknpull this weekend. My question is does anyone know the name of them? I don't seem to be able to find hardly any info, pictures, or the specific name of them. Any info would be great, I think they are pretty sweet and I have only ever seen one other truck (78 bronco) with these before.

What makes you think they're factory rims? Not that this means much, but I don't recognize them. Is there a Ford stamping on them?

Yes they are Ford stamped, I've heard they were introduced in 77 but haven't found a name or any pictures of them in vintage brochures from that period.

E2TZ-1007-A .. Cast Aluminum Styled Wheel ~ 15" x 6" / 1982/84 E/F100/150 & Bronco.

Styled steel and aluminum wheels were introduced in 1977 for F100/150 & E150, 1978 for Bronco, but this wheel wasn't introduced until 1982.

Strange, thanks for the info. So I guess type12 is probably the only name given to these.
