Yes this does matter. Canada has similar rules. My F150 just went through a government Inspection due to height. They check everything. My aftermarket projector halo heads and LED blacked out rears passed due to being DOT compliant. Height/width just passed, etc.

This brand actually. Maybe it is a jeep issue because I am hearing nothing but good from the superduty crowd. I just thought I'd do a little more reading and found that. Worried me a bit, but I think this is the way to go once one of my bulbs goea out. As long as I can get my fogs to match.

If they don't have a stamp on the bulb then it doesn't mean anything. Just like the reflectors. I would be willing to bet these bulbs are not rated/stamped for anything...

I was just pointing out what their site says. I haven't bought them yet so can't check a bulb.

Alright guys, hopefully everyone has had enough time to cool off and we can open this back up. No politics, name calling, insults, etc, or it is closed for good.

Hmm. They look to be a really good low beam light but I use my high beams a lot, I guess I could just install a bull bar and put a few lights in there to come on with my high beams come on hehe
