It's really hot here now, leaving for cooler country tomorrow (New Mexico) in the PSD. Heading to Albuquerque first then up to Las Vegas, NM. From there into Santa Fe and into the mountains to Dixon, Chacon, Taos and maybe Angel Fire. Also a stopover in Espanola to see a cousin.
Not expecting any problems but wondering if there are any members along my route?

 

I am in Penasco NM between Taos and Espanola. have a fun and safe tripe.

 

We will be going through Penasco when we visit San Lorenzo church on the Picuris Pueblo. My ancestors for several generations lived there going back to the 1700s. Holed up in truth or consequences tonight, truck running great.

Last time I was in Penasco I ate at a Mom and Pop hamburger stand right on the highway, probably go there again.

 

You must be talking about victor's drive in. They are still there and open. Good people. I live 10 min from there. beautiful time of year to drive these mountains. happy traveling.
