Ambulance. Tail lights are different from 72 pickups.

Kelvis, Where in this big ol world are you? Steering wheel on right, that is not a US of A vehicle. I believe the grill is more 71 looking than 72. First time I have ever seen something like that.

ND might be able to answer your question but that might be hard to find if you are looking at the US.

OK, I will have to give you that, it or the idea was born here. That said to my ol gray haired knowledge there are no right hand steer vehicles made here. If they were they were all shipped to the dock for country's like yours that uses right hand steer. It could have been built in South America, there have been a lot of look alike trucks built there.

Early ambulances here were Econoline vans. Anything further would be speculation on my part, but that was never a street vehicle like yours seen on the roads & streets here.

I dunno who made this body, but FoMoCo (USA) had nothing to do with it.

FoMoCo trucks of this vintage with RHD would have been assembled at the Oakville Ontario Canada truck plant, then exported to Down Under.

This is a Ford Styleside pickup with an aftermarket 'over the roof' body installed in the bed, possibly in Canada but more likely after it arrived in Down Under.

I've driven throughout the UK, have seen these tail lamps on Bedfords, Thames and other limey transports. But they're not genuine made in the USA Ford parts, that's for damn sure.

Whoever made the body installed the lamps. I would think there has to be a body tag on it somewhere.

1967/72 F100/350 Stylesides use the same taillamps as 1967/77 Bronco's & 1969/74 Econolines. They're rectangular with backup lenses incorporated within the red lenses.

I'd like to see a rear 3/4 view, which will answer several questions I have.

I don't care where it was made, that is a sweet ride. Good luck on the rebuild, looks like the body is very good.

Hello all
Thanks for your feedback and replies.

I have been led to believe that all the early F100 ambulances were built in the US and then fitted out in Australia. This may well be wrong.
As far as Canadian built goes, most of the Canadian F's Ive seen have only been 6 cylinder.
Mine is not an over the body install as the entire back is fibreglass, tray, body, roof and back doors. It would be nice to find a bit more info on the origins.
F100's were used as ambos here for years and there are still a lot floating around, particularly 80's.
Any more feedback would be appreciated, oh and I am still looking for tail light assebblys.

Thanks
Kel
