Tire size ? with cv front suspension
What size tire is anyone running on front with a crown vic swap? I have a 65 SWB that I am in the process of modifying. So far have completely torn down, sandblasted and painted frame, and installed the crown vic front suspension. I am ready for some rolling stock, but dont want to just buy tires for a trial fit. Thanks for the help.

I have 235 55 r 17 on mine if you have a CVPI front end do not use anything less than a 17 inch rim it will hit the sway bars. Im currently using the CVPI rims with the chrome centers kinda gives it a more nostalgic look but YMMV. Also do you plan on going lower if so stay away from Detroit springs the first set I get were way wrong the second pair are taller than the stock. If you have CVPI front end you can switch to civi front struts and coils should lower it like 1 1-2 inches to 2. Oh yeah CVPI = Crown Vic Police Interceptor.
