Soft brake pedal

Hi I just replaced my booster and master cylinder, I bled the brakes until the new fluid came out and continued until I had good pedal now after runnning around for about 15 miles the pedal is soft When I bled them I started at the passenger rear and worked my way to the drivers front. Thank You for any help.

Um, what do you need to be "set up" to bench bleed an MC? Shoot, you can do it while it's installed. And yes, you NEED to do it, and now you'll also need to re-bleed at the wheels. What year truck (good to include in your opening post, and NO your signature does not count)? If it has ABS, you should bleed the RABS valve after doing the rears and before the fronts.

Bench bleed the master cylinder and re-bleed your brakes. Your new master cylinder probably came with bench bleeding instructions. If you tossed them, more than likely, someone has a great writeup on this forum.
