Agreed, which is why I'm helping hang the rock but not mudding and sanding. I can do it, and have gotten pretty good at it in my old house, but this is my mother's house - I'll let someone else do the finish work.

The finish work seems to take 70% of the time.

Good morning Vermonters, happy Tuesday! Finally getting around to the June threads. Jim, you'll be happy to know, I sold the "Hole in the water, you throw money into" on Saturday!

Yes, mudding and sanding does suck!

good morning Pat. Must be a good feeling to get rid of that money pit floating bath tub. so is it true about the 2 happiest days for a boat owner, the day they buy it and the day they sell it?

Yeah, I was glad to get rid of it, and get the cash. Kind of sad to see it go, we had a lot of fun on that thing. But, just got to the point where, as little as we were able to use it, just wasn't worth the money.

the last major drywall project I did, I rented a dustless sander. Man, was that thing ever slick. Did a great job of sanding, and was pretty much dustless. Still had to do some hand sanding, but the majority was with that thing.

Some of it. Some is also going to get some stuff done on Black. New tires, a tranny service, and replace the grill. Oh, and new front floor mats. And maybe buy the new cover for the drivers seat. I can still get the leather covers from Ford.

I've got a real simple dustless one that I bought from home cheapo years ago. its like a 3 gallon bucket, the lid has two hoses. one connects to a shop vac and the other to your sanding pad. You put some water in the bucket and the dust settles out in the water.
