No, this is the first time it has been in for a repair since it was in for inspection last year. When I had to have a tire remounted a few weeks ago does not count. It has had a COP that has been "missing" intermittently and it has set a CEL. With it being due for inspection and it is the #6 COP which is a tough location to get to, figured take it in and have them replace it and make sure that nothing else needs to be replaced so that it will pass both the safety and emissions inspection.

A man after my own heart...that's the way I do it...not much left when I get rid of a vehicle. Although...the 2001 Taurus I sold 4 1/2 years ago is STILL on the road. Well over 250K miles. Maybe I let go of that one too soon!!!

The only problem with that is there is always something unexpected that pops up that is more of a need and pushes that to the back...LOL

Very true, so you are damned if you do and damned if you don't. Example, local Ford dealer took in a 2008 ish F250 SD SC as a trade a few months ago. Loved the color.... dark shadow grey. Truck had the 5.4 in it and had somewhere around 30-35K on it. They were asking $22K for it..... yes that it right. Would have pulled the trigger but was not in the position to do so at the time. My loss, someone's gain.
