Folks i recently purchased a 84 B2 to hunt with. The little thing is stock and runs like a top after a little TLC. It has a 4 speed manual transmission. The problem i have run into is the reverse gear. The shifter has always had a lot of slack, and reverse was a little hard to find at times. Now, i cant find it at all. No grinding, no snap, nothing. When you go to where reverse should be, nothing happens. I have read a couple of post on here about a plastic bushing??? Is this something i can look at and replace with the transmission still in the truck? I have big plans for this little bronco next year, but am just trying to get thru this upcoming hunting season now. So i am sure i will be on here a lot more later. Any help would be appreciated.
