Question on pricing - front end
Work on my '54 cab is well under way and while I should focus on getting the engine and transmission to align with the cab work, I found a front-end (fenders, grill, hood, etc) with no rust and running boards with no rust for $2000. I've been watching ebay and searching through craigslist and this seems to be up there with the better deals I've seen. Any thoughts? Is it worth going for?
Edit: I'm planning on using rear fenders that are 3" wider and the running boards that are part of this deal ($200 a side) are standard if this info helps any.

Check prices online from places like Dennis Carpenter or NPD Restoring American History | Mustang Parts | Camaro Parts | Chevelle Parts | Ford Truck Parts | T-Bird Parts | Firebird Parts that way you will have an idea if you are getting a deal or not.
for example:
Last Spring I bought 2 rust free 53 front fenders for $100.
There is a guy advertising on clist a OEM hood for $500 rusted across the front.
