New guy
Hello all, I'm new to the site and am on the hunt to find an old 1973 ford f-100 that was my old mans first pickup. His 50th is this year and I would love to find this truck no matter what condition it is in. Currently I own a 1977 f-100 2wd. But if there is anyway possible I could find out if this truck still exists I would be thrilled.
As much info I can give without his knowledge is that the truck was purchased new in Beverly Massachusetts at Thomas Ford. The truck was red in color, 2wd automatic c4 with a 302. Vinyl seats no options with a Grant 3 spoke steering wheel. It had 5 red marker lights between the tailgate and rear bumper and it had cab lights. It had a very distinct push bar that was fabricated by my old man and was mounted to the front bumper. When it was sold it had wagon wheel mag tires. It had Yosemite Sam "back off" mud flaps.
It was sold in Salem Massachusetts to a guy in Lynn Massachusetts in spring 1983. At least ten years later in 1993-94 he saw the truck again on route 114 in Danvers Massachusetts.
I know this is a longshot but he would be in tears if I found it. Any info that can be given would be so much appreciated. I also will be giving a reward if it is in fact found and bought. And if i need to post this in another part of the forum please let me know.
Heres a picture of my 1977
Thank you to anyone who puts time to read all this. God bless
