While my heart lies within the blue oval, I have great appreciation for all the old muscle. That Charger will be a cool whip to restore!!!

indeed, i am going to miss the old gal however she really needs to be driven and she usually sits most of the time so i would rather someone drive it an appreciate it than it just sit in the driveway for weeks at a time. I've been traveling a lot for work so i figured i found this deal on the charger that I've always wanted...the fiance said to buy it which was a gift from heaven in my opinion lol and now i can just drive teh Expedition and fix the F250 before i start on teh charger.

So I think you should use the Monstaliner on the charger...

Also, everyone replicates the General Lee..... you should do the General Grant. Make this thing scream 'Merica!!!!

You need cubic inches for the charger.... I read that and thought it had a Cummins in it.

So the F250 will never see snow or salt again.... the charger won't either. That would leave you with the Expedition as your one and only winter vehicle. Reason would stand that it will break down at some point in which case you will need a 4x4 for winter. Insurance is dirt cheap and the truck is paid for. I don't see any reason not to keep it unless you are running out of parking spots. And you may need to buy your fiance a shiny to trinket to entertain her since you bought another vehicle

See this is why i love this place lol always justifies my thoughts. I'm basically just running out of parking spots lol but if i put a small plow on it completely justified for winter use! lol. Screw it I'm gonna keep it and put some new tires on it and drive it through the winter its a good little truck.

I was going to keep the 360 but more power is always nice lol, the 360 use to run 13 sec 1/4 miles in the old chassis it was in.

See, that was easy.

The wife said to me a few weeks back that we could get rid of the Ranger and get a small fuel efficient car....

Over my dead body. Its paid for, its cheap to insure, and its cheap to fix. I told her I will drive it until the wheels fall off, the SAS it and put in a V8. I would be happy to get a 4th vehicle if she wanted a small car, but she said we do not have the room. It would be crammed, but we could make it work.

Was 72 the last year before they started putting all the smog crap on then engine?

I'm not sure about the smog stuff in all honesty, it's not an own engine so it literally has nothing but what's required to run it and it's strife pipes lol.

As far as the f150 goes I'm going to do cut outs, 33s and bedliner paint.

Well then..... Sounds like a good starting point. But the big question..... are you going to convert it 4 speed manual with a Hurst pistol grip?

Not sure the engine and transmission were just rebuilt so I may leave it but in all honesty anything is possible lol. I'm not even touching the charger until the F250 is done though so I have plenty of planning time lol.

I think we set the scope of the project as going towards the Monte Carlo in Tokyo Drift

1971 Chevrolet Monte Carlo Tokyo Drift - Picture 84463 | car review @ Top Speed

Its brutal and raw and gets the job done. Its about unrefined noise and horsepower. You could call it 'The Buster'.

Started to paint the truck black this weekend in the nice weather. I am planning to move this summer and i need to reduce the amount of toys so I am going to put a little more work into her to finally sell her off. It's going to be sad but i really need to reduce from 4 vehicles lol.

I painted more of the truck, all that's left is the hood and roof then she is all painted! I will probably do a matte clear coat to protect the paint better.
