another wheels/tires thread. help please

I have a 2005 model FX4. I have the Rancho Quick Lifts on the front. Stock on the back. Id like to get a bigger tire for my truck but not sure what my options are. I have looked online and see loads of 18-20 inch wheels options, none of which i can afford. My question - Is there not a good 15 or 16 inch black wheel thats simple/cheap that I could get some larger tires for? If so please provide me with some links because i cant seem to find anything for our model trucks.

FYI - My truck has the factory 18 inch wheels. I think the factory size is 275/65/18

There are plenty of 15 and 16" rims out there but they won't fit over your rotors. You need 17 or better. If you want cheap black rims, why not go the rattle can route.

or you could go to the junkyard and yank all the spare tires off the f150's

Hope this helps

These are 17" Ultra Motorsports Rogue, on 33x12.5x17. I'm going up to 35's this summer though. They arent very cheap though, they were $600 brand new

If you just want a bigger tire for cheap you can go with 275/70R18 they're factory size on some super duty trucks. So they should be available for a reasonable price. For wheels you could look into having yours powder coated or search craigslist. I picked up some factory wheels on craigslist then turned around and sold the aftermarket 17's that the previous owner had put on.
