Let me introduce myself. Presently I own a 94 F150 XLT I purchased 20 years ago new. At the time I got everything available on him. 351, 4X4, tow pkg, off-road pkg, 40/20/40 seats, power everything, and best of all, the Flare Side. All this took 3 months to order and deliver. It only has 149k miles after all these years. At the time friends thought me insane to spend 24k$ on a truck! These critics have all replaced their vehicles several times over but not I. But the time has come. I’m about to embark on the adventure of getting a new truck. I thought it would be, probably not informative, but at least entertaining if I started a tale of this process. I don’t know if this introduction section of FTE is the correct place to post these threads or not. So if you regulars on FTE can tell me where to record this tale I’ll begin. Not sure what direction to point you in, guess it would depend on what new truck your choosing to purchase. Maybe start the tail there Awesome story tho, paid 24 for the truck and after 5-6 years it's been paying you back 10 fold since!!

 

The truck I want makes this tale all the more entertaining. I want is the diesel SuperDuty. So does that mean I should move over to that thread? I’m not too proficient at using this site. Any other site for that matter
