Just checking in. Did pretty well today at Pate. Got some Sanderson Y-Block headers, a pair of short running boards that will hopefully fit my Utility Bed, a Toy power steering gear and a set of bare ECZ-G 312 heads. Didn't make it thru the whole swap meet but got sun burnt (or wind burnt), my feet were hurting and I just plumb wore out
More tomorrow.
Here's a Nice COE that had a 64 Mustang on it when it pulled in.

Thanks for posting the pictures, it takes me back a few years. I flew down for the Pate meet from New England back in the late 80's. I was into 30's Flathead Fords back then. While walking around I saw a Black 65 Mustang GT Fastback. I never was into Mustangs but I had a good car friend that brought back 2 New England Mustangs so I knew where they rusted. I slipped under on the drivers side to check out the floor pan under the drivers feet and the torque boxes. They were mint unrestored still in dull black paint. To make a long story short, I bought it and arranged to have it shipped to New England. I drove it that summer as my summer driver, decided it wasn't where my interest lay and headed off in a different direction. It was a really good original car.
EDIT: I should add that my 2 sons were teenagers back then and could not believe that I would sell the Mustang.

Bill,
There were several Mustangs (most rusted pretty badly) but I didn't take any pictures. The purple COE has a nice 64/65 in the back ground that it transported in. The guys that have Mustangs seem to think they're GOLD. Some of the trucks were very reasonable though. There's a picture of a Panel that had all new running gear, wiring harness, and lots of other stuff that the guy wanted 6K for that the body work was already done on. Just needed to be painted and finished.

I saw your thread earlier this month and would have loved to go, only 3 1/2 hours from my place. Would have loved to have a frosty with you and check out the swap meet, but too much work again. I am hoping that after this big job I am doing I will be able to live again, at least on the weekends!

Do you happen to have the info about that panel?
