Favourite Ford Dealerships and sales people - New and used
Hey all, thought we could start a thread to put in reviews and reccomendations for dealerships and sales people we have used in the Alberta area.
Can be short one-liners or a full blow review, whatever you have time and inclination for.
I'm currently looking for a Used salesperson in the southern half of the province, so if anyone has reccomendations for that, I would greatly appreciate it.

Well, I haven't sealed the deal yet, but I have a couple salesguys at two different dealers working hard for me right now. I was planning on buying a 2012 used with arounf 50,000 kms, but they may be abel to talk me into a brand new truck. Some of the incentives on new are unreal.
Now I am curious as to what model and how much they are asking? And what dealers you are dealing with. As I am thinking of upgrading to a 2015 f150 but I might go to the super duty for the towing ability.

I can say that for 2014 F150 Supercrew XLT XTR, a guy should have not too much problem getting one for $36k+tax. Those trucks sticker at nearly $50k.
A nicely equipped Fx4 should be under $40k.
Once I have a deal, I will be happy to reveal it privately to anyone who is interested. I am working three different dealerships, in three cities, and through a couple of different connections. It's pretty complicated.

I picked up my Used truck today. It wasn't from a dealership, so I can't help with that. But I can say for sure that Josh Bernhard at Cam Clark Ford in Olds is a great guy to deal with. He had some amazing deals worked out for me on brand new trucks. Seemed to be a couple thousand cheaper through him than through the dealers I was working with in Calgary and Edmonton. One of those was giving me a "fleet deal" through a connection I have, and it still wasn't as good as Josh could do for me.
Anyone who's considering a Ford should talk to Josh, I can even give you a referral that is worth $750 off your truck.
I had some good discussions with James MacDonald at Universal Ford in Calgary. He didn't have what I wanted in stock, so I didn't get too far with him, but he seemed pretty good to deal with.

Always good to hear of a happy customer. Trade-in values are funny, some dealers seem to have a lot more "wiggle-room" than others. I don't know why ther is such a big difference.
Of course, some just screw you over on the new vehicle price, but hopefully that's not that common.
That XTR package is pretty sweet. it's got all the little upgrades you want, and nothing too fancy to put the trucks out of the reasonable price range. That's what I drive and I'm very happy with it.

I also have the XTR package on my 08 XLT screw and it is worth every penny

Mine came with the backup camera and it is so helpful with hooking up to the trailer. The only bad thing is that it is in the rearview mirror
