Good morning all. We seemed to be getting quite a bit of sleet during the night. It didn't have any accumulation.

Just a note: I carry chains and a strap in the truck. I've pulled a lot of vehicles out of ditches and snow banks, slowly. I always worried about doing damage to my 7.3.
But that video was entertaining and he did get it out with pure muscle power.

 

We got a couple inches last night up north:



Wife and kids are gone for the remainder of the week, so it's just me and the dogs. Had this guy laying on me last night watching TV.

 

Afternoon all, was out in the rain/sleet/snow stuff all night stoopid frieghtshaker

 

Luckily I didn't have to go in early for the weather. I enjoy my sleep lately lol. Now it's time for some seat time at the tattoo shop and possibly plan b for dinner. 1 more sitting after this and my right sleeve is done. Then I will wait until the fall to continue the other arm.

 

Glad you got to sleep in! I know these winters are rough for those who keep our roads clear. I've always wanted to drive a plow truck, but never have wanted the hours!

Interestingly enough the Army isn't permitting lots of tattoos anymore. Starting at the end of the month anything below the knee or elbow that's bigger than your hand is disqualifying. Didn't used to be that way, it's interesting how the standard changes based on whether or not we need people.

 

And I was just about to join......now I'm disqualified, great


Also,anytime next winter I'll let you get some seat time in my plow truck. Just give me a call and I can take a nap while you drive

Ha ha, THAT sounds like a plan!

A COLD day out there. Shut the boiler off last night thinking that was a good idea, woke up to a 54° house. Hoping that it warms up soon!

 

Heat, who needs heat? This is perfect weather to be out and about. The house will worm up to 62 to 66 during the day. That's spring weather. Enjoy.

Te part came in for my climate control and I got that fixed.
The new fuel pump also came in yesterday so that will be the project tonight.

Good morning all. We are in for a good weekend. Washed the truck yesterday afternoon and she looks pretty. I think I'll put a layer of Mothers wax on her this afternoon.

 

I'm fairly certain that driving through up state new york is the closest thing to purgatory that a living being can experience.
