LED headlight replacements?

Does anyone make LED headlight replacements for our trucks? I've been searching for a long time but haven't had any success. I'm hoping that with the advent of LED headlights as OEM on some of the new trucks someone may have started to produce replacements for ours.

Everything I have seen seems to point to them being excellent. On top of that the ones I posted carry a lifetime warranty. Here is the only real shot I could find of them.

Problem is now I want a set... I just need to find out if the heat sink fits through the retainer ring for the bulbs...

There isn't much comparisons out there as these are fairly new to the market. HID's are brighter, but these do not glare in reflector housings like HID's thus not blinding others. One should only consider HID's if they are willing to do a full projector setup.

That alone is good, people are always putting HIDs in reflector housings, it blinds others, and a good set of halogen bulbs on a relay harness will give more visibility then the scatted HID/reflector pattern.

It surprises me they are DOT rated, and how each led bulb replacement looks so similar, yet replaces all different kinds of bulbs, as each bulb has a different filament orientation and light pattern.

Thank you Evan_P. I appreciate the quick answer and the link. Awesome site.

Going to order them this week. I'll pick up some new Ford headlight lens and finally be able to see again.

I have HID conversions and I completely understand about the light scatter and others flashing. What I would miss is the amount of light and the color. I have PIAA LED lights on the motorcycle and a HID low beam and there is quite a difference in how the light reflects off of things between the two different lights. I'm really interested in the results of your LED conversion results.

What!? These are awesome if they really have output like that picture shows. I am gonna email these guys and see what brand of LED emitter they are using. I think I'll order some too.

I pulled this from their FAQ page.

Q: What brand of LEDs are used?

A: We use Epistar and CREE LEDs in our lights, we know they will last, and stand behind them 100%

Post pics when you get them as I am very interested in these as well.

Definitely pics, if not a video. Not sure how to upload an mp4 to Youtube but I suppose I can figure it out.

If I can figure out the video thing then I would be happy to record a drive thru the woods, dark country roads, residential streets with streetlights, and the highway so that everyone can see for themselves. I plan on hitting the heatsinks with my IR temp reader also... I'll get a pic/video of that after the ride.

EDIT: we'll see about the woods... forgot the local 5-0 is handing out tickets lately. Too many $&@! out there starting brush fires and littering, they ruined it for all of us AGAIN!

I can go somewhere else though...
