This is the most common reason users have problems.

Rule #1 > Make sure they aren't TOO BIG.

Maximum size should 750 x 600 Pixels

adding pictures to my gallery?

The down and dirty:

Size- if the picture measurements are too large you will see error message on the next page after trying to upload from your CPU that will tell what is wrong with the picture you tried to upload. Either the measurements or the actual picture size on disk.

Where do I have the option? -Where it has 5 "browse" boxes is where you select your picture from hardrive. After you have the pics selected, just choose upload. If you see an error message refer to size above.

320 Mega Bytes for disk size and 750 pixels in width, I believe are the maximum for pics. Don't know the height max though, never had an issue.

Hope it helps.

if the pics are already saved as 450 KB how do you make them smaller aside from the settings on the camera prior to taking the picture?

I have tried to add a couple of pics but they are too big.

Thanks

Open them in you software on your computer and look for the
re-sizing tool.
Practically every photo software has it.
Check the help section of that software if your having trouble finding it.

The perfect size is 650 pixels for the longest side x 400 pixels ?
