Up for sale my 2001 ford excursion. Has the 7.3L diesel. Only 98k miles (97350).
Has lots of upgrades:
Icon 4” lift (doesn’t change steering geometry in the front, nice clean lift).
Has front V spring mod (off F-250) and rear B spring mod to correct factory issues with
wandering ect. Also raises it up for total lift of about 6”
Dual Blistine shocks in the front,
4” exhaust.
Class V hitch with 8 pole connector.
New batteries in March of 2012
Tranny was rebuilt 41K miles ago, double clutch kit, ect. have receipts for 3350.00
20” BMF rims with 35” tires. Have receipts for 1490.00 + for rims
Tires have about 30% tread. Toyo open country 325/60 R20's
Ghost flames are sometimes blue, purple, orange, not there depending on the sun and your angle.
Limited edition with power seats, heated seats, power windows, locks, ect.
Pillar gauges and DP tuner with 4 settings.
3rd row seat with seating for 8.
Amp Research drop down steps that come out when you open the door.
Turn radius is actually quite good (usually bad on excursions and F-250’s F-350’s of this year), I’m not sure what the previous owner did, but it turns well.
Is 4wd and factory 3.73 gears
Clean with a few scratches, small dimple in the front right door, about the size of a nickel.
It was smogged in 2013 in Phoenix. We do not do smog where I live now, so smog is not current.
Title is clear, no liens, NOT salvaged. I just need to get it notarized (Monday).

It runs great, no issues with the engine/tranny/drivetrain. Everything works, cold AC front and back (separate rear unit). Locks, windows everything works.
Only issues are:
One of the sensors for the backup alarm is out and it’s not working.
Sometimes the cruise control kicks off. Usually works fine.
There’s a squeak from the left front, sounds like a body mount needs tightened is all, doesn’t do it on the highway, just around town.
Meant to keep it, but we are getting a bigger travel trailer, and I don’t want to overload it.
Has NOT been abused, runs great and is very dependable. Very nice rig, I’m always getting compliments on it.
Only trade I’d be interested in is a 2005-2007 Dodge quad/mega cab with the 5.9L diesel. With under 100k miles, with money from my side for the deal as needed.

I’ve probably forgotten some of the add ons. Should be no surprises, it is as advertised, with any issues listed. Very dependable and nice rig. Ask if any questions and I’ll answer as best as I can.
I’m asking 18,500.00 OBO. Yes it’s above blue book, and the 7.3L excursion is hard to find. Especially with under 100k miles. Thanks for looking.
