A word about drinking and driving...and getting a new truck....

So after my '12 suffered two inglorious hits (one was a head on collision by a drunk and then right after that got fixed another one by someone who thought the "stop" sign really said "ignore"), I decided silver must have blended in with the background too much so...

Radiator, intercooler, grill, front bumper, headlight assembly, rim (she hit the truck so hard the bumper went into the tire and blew out the rim but not the tire). Second accident was $7000 in damage.]

...I decided to go with red this time.

So in reflecting back with the past two trucks and the nearly 200,000 miles I put on both of them, I can't say the 6.7PSD has so much as hiccuped.

Now I have to put new Rancho RS9000XLs on along with the fender flares but this time instead of painting the rockers, I'm going to do a graphic wrap. What fun. And it's all wife approved. Well, sort of....

Good looking truck ! I was not so lucky , I got hit from behind in 91 by a drunk in an Elcamino . I was driving a GS650 Suzuki motorcycle . I did not fair so well , totaled bike and car ! Now my back pays the price .Got a KZ1100 out of it though ...

What the heck is up with the dude standing in front of the ambulance .... or is that a robot

That's funny; he was my passenger. We were both pretty dazed. I don't remember the next two days because my head got slammed back into the head rest.

And to hoverp, the truck's level; shadow and a bad angle on my iPhone.

Sorry, I was not trying to make light of it.
The way his head is blurred (or whatever) makes him look like he has a tinman head.

I feel ya brother. My '07 5.9 cummins in my sig was totaled by a drunk girl going 70-80 in a 35 through a light at the crack of 11AM. Hit me on the ranch hand bullnose bumper replacement (front right side) and spun my 8000 lb baby well over 360 degrees. A firefighter saw it and in his deposition he said" man it was crazy...she hit him so hard it was like...like the movie the Matrix." So ya I have that going for me. Maybe get some wig wags like a police car!!
