I ordered my truck f250 ultimate lariat package c/c on 2/10/13 and took delivery 3/27/13. 5 weeks and 3 days. From my understanding it has to do with the size of the dealership and there allocation good luck I can tell u from personal experience it sucks waiting for a truck u can't wait to get !!!!!!

I can only assume that your ordered a 2015 truck. The dealer should have told you that there would be a delay.
01-15-2014 Dealers were ok to start ordering 2015 F250/350
02-13-2014 FORD was starting the production scheduling of 2015 F250/350
03-17-2014 FORD anticipated actual production of F250/350 trucks would begin
At the very best, they have only been building 2015 trucks for 3 days now, So even if your truck was the very first 2015 F250 produced - I would guess you have a few more weeks to wait.
This link shows the FORD production schedule I explained above

Hope this helps

In 1985 I ordered a 1986 Bronco and they said it could take up to 8 weeks. It arrived in 8 weeks to the day, then all I could do was drive it back to the camp I was working at, park it, and then leave on a 21 day river trip with my boys.
All the waiting was real tough, but worth it in the end and I kept that truck for 16 years because it was exactly what I wanted and needed, rather than a compromise I found on the lot.
Find things to occupy your time while waiting (like checking this thread hourly, lol) and rest assured that in the end you will have an awesome custom vehicle built to your own specifications!

My 2014 took 7 weeks and two days from order to delivery. Odd thing about mine was that it sat for two and a half weeks in the parking lot at Louisville before being loaded on a train. Nobody knows why, and the dealer had trucks that were built a full two weeks after mine arriving only days after being built.
