One day at a time

I have only got to do the cab, front clip , and bumper . Then it will be time for another project . By the way the wife said she will send a box of cookies to the person that finds me a good deal on a front valance and splash pan .for a 1956 .

That sure looks good...and goofy at the same time Good luck with the front valance. Maybe someone on here will send you in the right direction.

Take it for a frame ride while you have the chance! It's a hoot!
I used an outboard motor tank for a gas supply, and a folding beach chair lashed to a small sheet of plywood tied to the frame for a seat. You might have to remove the bed to get the full effect though....

Lookin' good by the way!
I like the simplicity and functionality of your rear bumper.

Dave, wow that brings back memories of my 56f250 build.
Maybe I could get a few valances out of storage and see if you could use them.
Hey George Hartman drove ''earl'' around without any sheetmetal, and I did too....give it a go and make some memories, now before it gets all finished.

I'd never recognize that as the rust-stained heap you towed home only a few months ago!

Dave, its amazing how fast you're progressing. Good work. Sure wish I could come up with a valance and splash pan. Missy Green says she ain't givin' up nothing, cookies or no cookies.

Thanks for the kind words. As soon as the carb gets rebuilt I plan on firing it up and doing the frame ride . Need to think up something for a gas pedal . I finished stripping the cab today, tomorrow the doors and hood will finish coming apart , Then we need to go see what kind of deal the sandblaster is giving, after his dog tore up my hand , And yes the 41 magnum will be going with me .

Really great job, Dave! BTW, the title of your thread has put that corny old "One Day at a Time" sitcom song in my head all day long. Thanks.

Movin' on up! That's looking good.

Found a valance for you but it's a bit spendy... and fiberglass..
