1984 LPG F150 not getting fuel
I have had this truck sitting for about 15 months before putting it back together. Now the engine will turn, and it is getting spark, but seems not to be getting any fuel.
If I add gas to the intake it will fire.
It has a lock-off that's electrically actuated, which does not allow gas to flow if the key is off. There are no measurable ohms resistance between the positive battery terminal and the power supply for the lock-off.
Passing the lock-off, there is a red wire going to a gadget mounted on the intake manifold. That gadget has a vacuum hose leading to the intake. Then there is another red wire leading away from the gadget, back to the cab. From the positive battery terminal to the second wire, there are .7 ohms resistance.
I assume this opens up under vacuum pressure to allow fuel in when there is electrical current.
So here are my questions:
1) What is this gadget called?
2) What are the possible causes of no fuel flow?
3) How would I check them?
Still trying to figure out how to upload photos since I am a novice to this forum
