It is a Duraspark body. The parts from a Motrocraft Y block distributor pretty much swap right over and if you use the Duraspark stuff where applicable, you get a Duraspark distributor.

The conversion can also be made with The Y block Motorcraft and Autolite distributors but is slightly, to moderately more involved.

Time to shop for a Duraspark Dizzy. But I'll wait to do any Pull and Save hunting until it quits snowing.

I had some issues on reassembly with the gland nut that goes around the pickup tube into the pump body. I have checked this many many times to verify that I do not have leakage. Even with variable speed none has been found.

The only other unusual situation I have experienced is low oil pressure at idle since I redid all of this. the running pressure is still up there but whereas I formaly had 20psi at hot idle the engine only has 10psi. I still creep to nearly 60 cold and 50 hot on 10W-30 oil while driving but............This one kinda stumps me.
