2010 Escape Climate Control Issues

I purchased an As-Is 2010 Escape off of ebay last night. I picked it up and noticed the manual climate control does not work. Nothing... no power to any of the buttons. The back lighting lights up, but the indicator lights will not light when depressed. NO heat NO A/C... it does nothing. Fan will not kick on at any speed.

I checked all of the fuses I could find related to the climate control in the owners manual and did not find anything blown. Previous owner claims that it worked fine for him

Any other areas I need to check before pulling the dash apart on this thing and chasing wires?

Thanks in advance for your help.

Dan

* crickets *

Maybe someone has a service manual and could post a picture of the wiring schematics? I have power at fuse box, but can't determine if I have power at EMTC.

Dan,
I know it was a long time ago but I now have this same problem. Did you ever figure out what the problem was?
Any help would be appreciated.

Chris
Welcome to the forum, Chris! Have you mentioned your climate control issues to your dealer? How many miles are on your Escape? I'll research some ways to help.

It has 53,000 miles and we haven't taken it to the dealer because its my son's car and he wants to try to fix it himself. The dealer will be a last resort.

Thanks for letting me know, Chris. If you or your son decide to get the dealer involved, give me a heads up; I'll see what I can do to assist.
