...Posted this pic a couple weeks ago. I had chased down the owner and forced $$ on him. ....
,,Today I finally went to pick up my latest acquisition. .... Managed to line up days off without rain or snow...
... Found a couple interesting things on the gem....
...I guess that's how you keep the door hinge snugged up. .....
...And dual straight pipes... ... She must have sounded sweet haulin a 100 bushels of wheat to market. ....
...And you had to be care full where you stepped... cow pasture again. ..
...In fact it was quite an obstacle course out there......
...So in a couple days it will be lined up with its long lost relatives.... Safe and sound... Suppose to rain/snow tomorrow so won't haul it out to the back 40 till later.....
Stan. .......

Some of us here can multi-task. I lurk over on the Studebaker Truck Talk forum, and speak up on wheel issues sometimes. That tanker is unfortunately sitting on hub piloted widow makers. The Studebaker crowd has worse wheel challenges than we do. Stu

Studebaker is one of those brands that you just have to love.
There is no competition and they just are cool looking vehicles.
Now, this is probably about the only forum on FTE where this will fly as well.
The moderators just know we are nuts and give us leeway.
Stan, love those straight pipes. I wonder if that would run cooler than mufflers in the fields?

Studebaker trucks during WWII were lend-leased to the Russkies and were used to build the ALCAN Highway.
I'm a member of the Studebaker Drivers Club online forum.
