I'm trying to decide on tires and level kit.

I don't really want to spend the extra money and worse fuel milage with 35's. Even though I know they would look awesome.

I'm thinking of going with 33's and level kit to make the truck level. I have not gotten the truck yet so I haven't measured what level kit I need. Let's say 2" levels it and I put 33's on will it look good? Will the 33's fill the wheel wells enough to look good?

Right now I'm leaning toward Duratrac 295/65/18 (33.1") Or I can get BFG AT TA's 305/65/18 (33.6") but they are not as good in the snow/ice as duratrac.

What do you guys think?

Raul B you picture with the 33's is it leveled? How much? Looks good.

I looked at SWHEELERS photos of the black FX4. It's 2" level with 33's. I think it looks pretty darn good.

Thanks! I did lose about 1 to 1.5 mpg but I love the way it looks now.

I agree truck looks great! I am doing the same exact set-up on my FX4 in a month or so when the stock tires wear out, except I have 18" wheels.

In your opinion, do you think you could fit mud-flaps in there still? I don't want to part with mine, but getting a 2in level kit and those nittos I might have to remove them?

Let me know what you decide. I'm getting my truck next week and will measure it. Once I know how much to level then I'll decide on what brand.

I'm not sure about the mudflaps. Looks like they will clear. I took a couple close ups for you.

Almost as opposite from Alaska as one can get. I'm in Arizona.

There is a guy stationed here with about the same set up as you. The black really looks good with the 20in wheel option. I wish I would have gotten the same on mine. I think I am just going to plasti-dip mine seeing as my tires are brand new.

Haven't figured out how to add the picture, but if you go to my garage you'll see my 2010 with the Bilstein shocks. I was able to fit 285/65/20's

So I got my truck yesterday. I'm having 295/65/18 (33.1") put on today.

Now I have to figure out the leveling kit I want. I measured to the top of the wheel well openings and the front seems to be lower by 1.75"

I was going to get a 2" front level but that may be too much and look odd? Or, maybe I go 2" in the front and lift the back 1"?

What do you guys think? What's a good brand to look at?
