Well……I have scored or at least I feel I have. I have scored a C4 transmission from a guy today for only $125. Needs lines but is in good working order and will work great for all my mock up and can also be rebuilt. I am one happy person.

Worked for about six hours today. Got the frame moved into its resting place for the next couple of months. Jacked up, on stands and started to disassemble the front suspension. Removed some parts for a new friend in Ohio. Will be mailing them off tomorrow. Really starting to come together. Ready to start installing all the new parts. Cool !!!!

Hey The Frame actually looks in real good shape Now after you disassemble are you gonna clean it up and paint it with some anti rust like POR 15 ??? before you put on the new stuff or just leave it be ??

I have will be ordering a IFS front suspension with Coil overs and a rear four link with coil overs too. I do plan on cleaning frame, applying a POR15 sealer and then a frame paint made by dupont that will give you the matte factory look.

I cleaned up the rear end today. Installed new rotors, pads, bleeder valves, bearings, changed differential oil and primed and painted. I know I still have to remove the factory brackets and install four link but was a little excited to see it cleaned up.

Well put a coat of paint of diff cover. Kinda of like it not sure yet though. I got all the factory mounts cut off the rear end this weekend. I was also able to get all the factory spring perches and old cut cross member removed. I now have to order boxing plates and IFS kit. I am going to remove old rear end next week and get the new 8.8 set in place. Coming along nicely.
