Oregon's 2014 Official BS thread. May you all be full of it!
After building a C6 on her dining room table and using her dish washer to clean parts, I don't think it would be to big of a deal..........lol
Tomorrow we start moving stuff from my shop to the sale building!

Cuts down on transit time, maximizes efficiency, you can use her bathtub for a chip bin.

Maybe a Caveman???????????
Back door missing, metal skin wrinkled / collapsed. I'll bet the flimsy wood under that metal looks like splinters. Might be good for a weenie and marshmallow roast!
I remember as a little kid going to look at "new" campers on the RV lots with the old man, just about as much fun as x-mas!
Gotta jump in the cab-overs or hide in the bathrooms!

Might be a caveman........or a six-pac or a Conestoga.......one of those good ol' dry-rot specials from the late 60s/early 70s.

Our "RV" when I was growing up was the back of the horse truck. Tarp over the side and head boards, tarp on the floor boards, special hole cut for a small heat stove pipe, Coleman cook stove, air mattress and sleeping bag. Just had to shovel the horse s&^* out first.
Good old down home country aroma. Didn't need any of those Christmas tree fresheners.
When dad and I rebuilt my sister's camper, I saw just how flimsy they were made and I got worried.
When the jacks collapsed out from underneath my King of the Road and we tore into it to rebuild that mess.............well, I salvaged some stuff out of it, we took it to the burn pile, tied a chain to it and the tractor. Dad drove one way and I drove the other. Then we set it on fire. It burned so fast and wicked.........that was 1995.
It was just last year that I let my wife talk me into another one. I've got smoke detectors and the escape hatch on the cab over is always set for a quick exit.
Dad never kept anything (trucks, boats, RVs) very long, always had to have new........I am the exact opposite, I keep stuff forever.
We never got to see how those older campers deteriorated........but we always had fun with the new stuff!
