Good morning Oregon FTE gang and friends.
Morning Don, Roy and Allen.
I have some yard projects to work on today with my wife. I'd better get at it before it gets too warm.

Good morning Oregon and everyone everywhere else! 58, clear and sunny.
3 and no wake up. We decided we are beating feat and getting the heck out of Dodge Monday night just as soon as Diana gets home from work.

We think it will be great, a little hectic, but great.
One of the boys will be house sitting for us so we won't have to worry about the house.
The biggest snafu will be Thursday when we have to come all the way back to PDX to pickup the kids coming in from Great Lakes Naval Station. We'll spend the afternoon / evening visiting with grandparents and Sandy wants to visit with one of her high school friends Friday. They will have my car so we will go on back to camp and then they will join us Friday night or Saturday morning.
We decided we would make the extra trip by going down to Dia Lk on Monday night because, from past experience, Friday is a very, very bad day to get to the camp ground. If we are there Tuesday morning, we will have a couple of days to get one of the camp spots we prefer, get the camper off the pickup and float the boat. (and fish of course!)

I have heard the fishing is not great right now up at Diamond, Odell has a toxic algae bloom, Crane Prairie is warm and the fish are slow biting and taste muddy, Wickiup is in the summer doldrums too...........Maybe East or Paulina Lakes might be better bets due to depths and elevation at this time of year?
We did well at Lemolo.

Who is the RV Tech........
The fridge quit in the 5th wheel. Dometic, AC / LP
Controls work....in AC mode the heating element gets hot. In the LP Mode the gas ignites. Neither the fridge nor freezer get cold. 12VDC Supply is present. AC 115V is present. Fuses are good. Cused at it....didn't help.
Any words of wisdom ????

There's a real good RV guy in the trailer towing section named Steve. His FTE handle is RV-Tech.
Basics: How level is the trailer? Ammonia can "puddle", and that prevents circulation, thus cooling. Some units are more sensitive than others to being dead on level.
Besides that, the only thing you haven't verified is the operation of the thermostat.
If it's also good, you've got a refrigerant leak, and that's not practically fixable without a new absorbtive unit. I hear the Amish make the best ones.
Lots of folks rave about replacing their fridges with a "home-type" unit, and say they'd never go back. Of course that requires shore power or a genset.
I'd try bypassing the thermostat first, but usually heat makes cold, and you've got both sources of that.
