Okay you are my teacher and I'm your student, I like those numbers.
I made the 302 I was talking about out of "stuff" laying around, like old stock 302 4bbl heads, a used edlebrock performer intake, a used aftermarket cam, a new 450CFM Holley 4bbl and some cheap headers...........total bill back in those days didn't break $350.
And that brought a anemic 145hp 75 302 2bbl up to the point that trans-ams and Z-28s had no idea what had happened to them.
I did all that when I was young and stoopid back in the very early 80s.
You need to seek out Conanski, he hangs out in the 80-86 and 87-96 F-series sections.........he is the man when it comes to the 302/351W
I'm thinking of sticking with a carb on my current project, I have a 1983 351 W 2brl carb.
Put these heads on it John. it'll wake right up. You'll have to drill the head bolt holes out to 1/2", but that's no biggie.

Morning Dave! I'm amazed I made it through the night without being in a food coma. Harley and I split a whole Huckleberry pie last night.................lol
